Not necessarily. Higher power extends range, but it also increases interference with nearby pilots and drains the battery faster. Most flying, especially at group or club sites, uses lower power settings, with higher power reserved for genuine long-range flights and subject to local power limits.

The same general drone rules apply regardless of range, Operator ID and Flyer ID, an observer or recognised exemption, no-fly zone and altitude restrictions. Flying further doesn't change the legal requirements, though it does make staying within the observer or visual-contact rule practically harder.
